After a relaxing summer break, the band has resumed normal service on a Wednesday evening. There has been some seat shuffling, new players and guests arriving on the scene; for what promises to be an exciting new year for the band. There’s even talk of extra rehearsals, competitions and a 2nd anniversary party! In the meantime we will be working on our forthcoming concerts for Heath Hall and the Capstone Theatre. We’ve also updated our members page with new pictures – go and check out their mug shots!

We received a lovely letter from the senior charity officer – Julie Gornell, in response to our gig at the Penny Lane Community Centre:

“I and the team here at Penny Lane Development Trust would like to thank you all so very much for your support over Beatles weekend. It was such an Honour to have a Brass Band play on Penny Lane. You are a very talented group of people and complemented our music festival in such a beautiful way. Feedback from visitors and locals alike was extremely positive.”

 

Our resident band clown and baritone player has developed a fresh look website for us! We’re hoping to keep this and our facebook page frequently up to date with all information, pictures and news of the band as we progress.

The Band had a great day at Vale Park, New Brighton yesterday playing to a great audience. Thank you to everyone for your support.
